Privacy
Pilot version. Plain language; the legal text will follow before a wider launch.
What we store
- Your email address, used only to send sign-in codes. There is no password.
- Your name, an optional line about you and an optional region, as you typed them.
- Your cats: name, age group, whether it is your first cat, how many cats live with you, apartment or house.
- Your answers, posts, replies, the people you added to your circle and the people you blocked.
- Photos you upload. We remove location data and other metadata before anyone sees them and never show the original.
- Product events such as “answered a question” or “opened a discussion”, without the text of what you wrote.
Who sees what
- Other signed-in members see your name, region, cats and what you shared. Your email is never shown.
- Another member’s answer to a question is shown to you only after you answered it yourself, and the same applies to yours.
- Profiles are not indexed by search engines and there is no public API.
- Moderators see reports and the content they concern.
Deleting
You can delete individual posts and replies, or your whole account, from settings. Deleted material disappears immediately and is erased from our servers within 30 days. Replies other people wrote in your threads stay, without your name.
Where it lives
On a single server run by us, with daily backups of the database and the photo folder. We do not sell or share data with anyone.
